Аннотация:Single-photon detectors, including those that resolve the photon number, play a key role in experimental research in the field of quantum optics and quantum computer science. However, such
detectors have a number of disadvantages, and the choice of a detector is always a trade-off [1] between
such characteristics as quantum efficiency, dead time, etc. In view of this, part of the information
is lost and distorted during measurements, which negatively affects the experimental data obtained.
The study suggests method for tomography of photon-number-resolving single-photon detectors. By
means of the proposed method, the main characteristics of detectors and radiation sources are restored. The proposed method is tested on the simplest models.
