Аннотация:The interactions of polyhydrides of molybdenum and tungsten of the type MH,(dppe), with proton donors of different protonation ability were studied with IR and UV spectroscopy in CH2Cl2. It was found that the formation of a molecular hydrogen-bonded complex (OH ... M) (1) is the first stage of protonation. An ionic H-complex of the type M(+)H ... O- (2) was formed as a result of proton transfer. Deprotonation of [WH5(dppe)(2)](+)X(-) salt was found to proceed through the intermediate formation of complexes 2 and 1.
