- Аннотация: The notion of electrode potential is discussed in the context of its physical origin, with explanation of links to the notions of Volta potential, Galvani potential, and surface potential. Practical aspects of the measurements of electromotive force and electrode potential in the three-electrode cell are briefly reviewed, with the comments on equilibrium and standard potentials.
