- Аннотация: This article provides historical review of Ogaden War, which shaped a significant portion of Eastern Africa during the Cold War. Although it examines several important aspects of this conflict from the point of view of the Western superpowers and USSR. An article also provides an interesting Soviet-centric perspective on the war that ultimately formed the political identities of Ethiopia, Eritrea and Somalia.
