Аннотация:Experimental and calculated data make it possible to predict the operability of the quartz discharge channel of the HF-plasmatron VGU-4 in a wide range of operating regimes of the facility for various gases. The lower limit of the plasma forming gas mass flow rate, at which a sharp increase in the maximum temperature of the discharge channel was observed, was 1.8 g/s.
