Аннотация:The Grignard reaction of (chloroalkyl)chlorosilanes affords aseries of highly branched polycarbosilanes featuring two types ofterminal groups. The thermophysical properties of the resultingcompounds are studied. The effect of the structure of the highlybranched polymer and the nature of its terminal groups on theformation of a carbon residue (pyrolysate) is evaluated. Thepotential of application of poly(chloromethyl)-trichlorosilanewith terminal SiH groups as a precursor for SiC ceramics isdemonstrated.
