Аннотация:Six murine hybridoma cell lines producing IgG2b end IgG1 monoclonal antibodies (Mabs) to human -fetoprotein (AFP) were obtained by standard cell fusion technique for investigation epitopic topography and relationship between protein structure and function. Epitopes were studied using diverse version of ELISA and immunoblotting. MAbs did not react with hSA and distinguished five unrelated epitopes on AFP molecule, two of which were specific for human AFP, whereas three another were intrinsic for human, sheep and bovine AFP. One of the common epitope appeared to be conformational, expressed on immobilised AFP molecule.
