Аннотация:The experimental study of the surface conductivity on oxide/aqueous electrolyte solution boundaries has been the subject of the work of many investigators. However, the measured specific surface conductivity is usually significantly higher than the value calculated according to the well-known Bickerman theory. In order to account for this phenomenon, it was postulated in review that there is additional conduction in the transition layer formed on the surface of the oxide, which acts as an ion-exchange membrane. The present work establishes the quantitative dependence of the speciffic surface conductivity on an oxide/electrolyte solution interface on the concentration of the ions in the solution.
