- Аннотация: The fountain effect and die swell phenomena in viscous fluids flows were considered. These effects emerge spontaneously in industrial equipment used for production of composite materials. The experimental results which confirm the presence of these effects and show the importance of their consideration for controllable structure formation are presented. The research was conducted for such technologies as semisolid metal (SSM) billet pressing (or thixoforming), carbon fibre-reinforced rod pultrusion and powder injection molding (PIM) technology. An opportunity to model complex flow in shape-generating equipment is discussed.
