- Аннотация: 10.1163/9789004516007_006Historicism in the study of globalization has made it possible to reveal the logical integration of humankind in the name of preserving man as a species and as a bearer of Earth’s spiritual culture. In this article, globalization is presented as a long-term historical process of the evolution of humankind, from a biological population settled on the planet into a global community. This work traces the stages of this process, from local communities of the Stone Age to the global community of present Digital Age, using a multicriteria approach to periodization. The next qualitative stage of will be associated with new technological breakthroughs that will allow humankind not only to move to the next level of social integration, but to moving towards a life expectancy past 100 years. Apart from this indicator, no future innovations in science, technology, ecology, or socio-cultural development will continue to have the universal significance that has always determined the historical logic of globalization.
