Аннотация:The propagation of a single N-wave through a random phase screen is considered. Analytical solutions describing the distortions of the waveform and the spatial structure of the wave behind the screen are obtained. The probability distributions of the amplitude and rise time of the sonic boom front are studied for two phase-screen models with different Gaussian distributions of the second derivative of the transmission function. The random modulation of the phase front, on average, decreases the amplitude and, conversely, increases the rise time of the shock front over that for the regular case. The distribution functions of wave parameters broaden out due to the effects of random focusing and defocusing.
