Аннотация:The effect of methyl red on the microstructure of a copper galvanic coating deposited on someanodized aluminum alloys is demonstrated. The methyl red in an acid medium containing copper ions (II) isfound to form a tetrahedral complex, which is adsorbed at the cathode surface and favors refining the depositstructure, a decrease in the roughness and porosity, and an increase in the corrosion resistance.
