Аннотация:The structure of the air flow around a V-shaped wing with the Mach numbers 3 and the Reynolds numbers 1.6 × 108 at the modes with the bow shock wave attached to forward edges is investigated. For determining the flow characteristics of shock waves with the purpose of establishing their closeness to the mode with the minimum entropy production, a calculation procedure is developed. The streamline, which provides the drag pressure balance on the sphere for all streamlines coming into the critical points involved, comes to the spreading point on the windward cantilever (WC) nearest to the central chord. Under the free interaction in conical flows, the angle between the separation line and the homogeneous-flow direction on the plate can accept the value providing the minimum entropy production in the system of shock waves generated by the boundary-layer separation.
