Аннотация:Transparent wide-band polymers polyarylenesterketones (PAEK) were used to attach current
collecting grid of wire to antireflection TCO (Transparent Conducting Oxide) layer on silicon solar cell surface in Laminated Grid Solar Cell (LGCell) construction. Pressure-induced transition from dielectric into a high conductivity state in thin polymer layer appears after low temperature lamination step. The polymer layer provides good cross conductivity, but having dielectric properties in the longitudinal direction. The application of polymers in
LGCell design ensures the excellent adhesion of wire to TCO and allows the use the round wire, improving the conversion parameters due to the reduced effective width of fingers.
In the present work the PAEK films were doped by lanthanide Eu(III) complex to provide luminescent down-shifting (LDS) improving the poor spectral response of solar cells to short-wavelength light. The purpose of the work was to create doped polymer films with good separation between the absorption and emission bands and having high luminescence quantum efficiency for LDS, but retaining good optical and contact properties for the use in the
LGCell contact system. The optimized concentration of Eu(fod)3 complex in the PAEK film provides large Stokes shift: excitation wavelengths are within the range of 300 ÷ 380 nm, corresponding to the absorption region of the composite, and the photoluminescence emission spectrum lies within the range of 550 ÷ 720 nm. Simultaneously, doped polymer films ensure low contact resistivities (<1 mΩ·cm2) in TCO film/doped polymer film/metal system.
