A.Keywords: Anatoly Zolotukhin, memoirs, Doctor of Technical Sciences, dissertation.Anatoly Borisovich Zolotukhin was born on March 11, 1946 in Moscow in a family of oilmen-graduates of the Gubkin Moscow Petroleum Institute: Boris Konstantinovich Zolotukhin, director of the Shugurovsky enlarged oilfield of the Tatneft Trust and Ekaterina Fedorovna Garanina [1]. Figure 1 shows a photo of Anatoly Borisovich. In 1969, he graduated from the Moscow Order of the Red Banner of Labor Institute of Petrochemical and Gas Industry named after I.M. Gubkin, majoring in "Technology and Complex Mechanization of Oil and Gas Fields development", entered graduate school in 1972 and graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1977 with a degree in Applied Mathematics. Together with his wife Alla Nikolaevna Gladkova, they raised and raised a wonderful son Alexey.Fig. 1. Anatoly Borisovich ZolotukhinFrom the memoirs of Zolotukhin's friend A.B. Rybak Anatoly Borisovich: "I met Tolya Zolotukhin in the summer of 1969 in the library. We were both preparing for the admission exams to graduate school and went outside to smoke. We got to talking. First, we discussed special offers, then moved on to more general topics. I was immediately struck by an unusually wide range of his interests: music, painting, architecture… Moreover, he understood them not as an amateur, but quite professionally. Although we had different musical and artistic tastes, he never imposed his views on me. Tolya was surprisingly tactful and friendly. As they say today – tolerant."In graduate school at the Department of Theoretical Mechanics, he prepared and successfully defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Effective solutionsome problems of underground hydrothermodynamics related to the application of thermal methods of impact on the oil reservoir" in the specialty "Mechanics of liquids, oil and plasma" under the supervision of the head of the department, Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences Shchelkachev Vladimir Nikolaevich and associate Professor, Candidate of Technical Sciences Oleg Nikolaevich Kharin. In the work, a solution was obtained to one of the complex problems – the problem of determining the temperature field of the reservoir when saturated water vapor is injected into it. The simplicity of the solution made it possible to conduct a detailed analysis of the thermal efficiency of the process. Together with his friend and colleague V.A. Rozhdestvensky, he published an article "The temperature field of the reservoir under thermal influence, taking into account the injection and selection of liquid" in the journal "Oilfield business". The formation of A.B. Zolotukhin as a scientist is entirely connected with GubkinUniversity, where he passed all the stages of scientific growth – junior, senior researcher, associate professor, head of the laboratory and professor.A.B. Zolotukhin linked his creative biography with the Department of Development and Operation of Oil Fields of the Moscow Order of the Red Banner of Labor Institute of Petrochemical and Gas Industry named after I.M. Gubkin. At the department, he conducted analytical and numerical modeling of various thermal and thermochemical methods of increasing oil recovery, and at the same time studied at Lomonosov Moscow State University and received a higher education in applied mathematics. From the memoirs of Zolotukhin's friend A.B. Rybak Anatoly Borisovich: "Later, when we got to know each other better, I found out that he plays the piano and draws superbly. It seems to me that he also contributed his artistry to solving scientific problems that he was engaged in. It seemed that their decision was given to him without difficulty, although this was far from the case. There were sleepless nights and the reading of tooth-crushing special literature, but he never complained of difficulties."In 1978-1979 he completed a scientific internship at Stanford University (USA). Gorenje Gorenje participated in projects and research programs in the USA under the guidance of Professor Ramey (H.J. Ramey, Jr.): "Hydrodynamic well research", in which he developed a three-dimensional mathematical and numerical model for the study of wells in a layered-inhomogeneous formation; "Intra-layer combustion", where he performed analytical and numerical modeling of processes of intra-layer combustion and presented 3 reports at international conferences in 1978-79 . and published 1 article in the journal of the Society of Petroleum Engineers of the USA (SPE Journal, 1984). After returning from the USA, he worked at his department assenior researcher from 1979 to 1985, and led a group of young researchers consisting of N.A. Eremin, L.N. Nazarova, and others in the scientific areas of designing and analyzing the development of oil and gas fields, analytical and numerical modeling of development using methods of increasing oil recovery, including physico-chemical and thermal methods of oil production. He wrote together with the head of the Department, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Y.P. Zheltov, Candidate of Technical Sciences I.N. Strizhov and Candidate of Technical Sciences V.M. Zaitsev "Collection of tasks for the development of oil fields", published in the publishing house "Nedra". As a deputy project manager, he participated in the drafting of a number of projects for the development of Russian oil fields, such as Pionerskoye, Vishnevo-Polyanskoye, Mishkinskoye, Yaregskoye, which were successfully protected at the Central Committee of the Ministry of Oil Industry of the USSR, which was led by First Deputy Minister Filanovsky-Zenkov V.Yu.From 1985 to 1990 . Zolotukhin A.B. worked as an associate professor at the Department of Development and Operation of oil fields, conducted training courses in the following disciplines: development of oil fields, theoretical foundations of development of oil and gas fields, design of development of oil fields, application of computer technology methods in development and production. Under his scientific supervision, the following dissertations were prepared and defended: L.N. Nazarova: "The choice of thermal methods for increasing oil recovery and optimizing the process of oil displacement by hot water", April 1989.; Kim Jong-wook (Democratic People's Republic of Korea): "Development of a method for analyzing and predicting the development of an oil field using flooding based on experimental and industrial development data", December 1988; Chelat Vijayan (India): "Mathematical modeling of the process of oil displacement by water from a fractured-pore reservoir", May 1988 and N.A. Eremin: "Development of a computer-aided design system for oil field development using intra-layer combustion", March 1987. GorenjeThe following dissertations were defended at the Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov under his scientific supervision: Lobanov Alexey Alexandrovich, 2019, "Study of sedimentation of asphalt-resin-paraffin substances in the interaction of reservoir high-viscosity oil and liquid CO2 to substantiate the technology of cyclic exposure to carbon dioxide in order to increase oil recovery" and Lyudmila Nikovna Ikonnikova, 2013, "Evaluation of the effectiveness of measures to intensify oil production during hydrochloric acid treatment".Anatoly Borisovich Zolotukhin is one of the organizers of the Institute of Oil and Gas Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, where he held the positions of scientific secretary, as well as chief researcher, making a great contribution to the establishment and development of the Institute. The first meeting of the IPNG RAS Directorate was held in 1987. A commemorative photograph of that momentous event is shown in Fig. 2.In 1990, Zolotukhin A. For me, our communication has always been a holiday. I have never met such warmth and goodwill anywhere else. After his death, it seemed to me for a long time that the phone was about to ring, and a familiar voice would say: "Hello to you. What are you doing...". And only now, a year later, I fully realized the severity of the loss."The contribution of Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Anatoly Borisovich to the development of hydrocarbon deposits has been marked by many Russian and international awards: 2002, Figure 5 shows the certificate of Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences.Figure 5.
