Аннотация:The prospects of application of high-power laser systems for the problems of nuclear photonicsare discussed. By the example of the structure of the nuclear levels of the krypton isotope 83Krhaving two isomeric states with energies of 9.4 and 41.6 keV, the possibility of their indirect excitationthrough the high-lying short-lived levels with the use of high-energy laser plasma radiation isdescribed. It is shown that the cross section of photoexcitation of the 9.4-keV level by gamma-quantawith an exponential energy distribution increases by more than 100 times as the distribution temperaturegrows from 50 keV to 1 MeV at a constant amplitude. The estimates of the yields of the reactionsof photoexcitation of 83Kr isomeric levels by plasma radiation generated by the petawatt-level laser systemare performed for several values of the electron beam temperature and the thickness of the bremsstrahlunggamma-radiation converter.
