Аннотация:Differential thermal analysis, X-ray powder diffraction, and tensimetry are used to study the rhenium-oxygen system in the Re-Re2O7 composition region. Re2O7, cubic ReO3, and orthorhombic ReO2 are the equilibrium oxide phases in this system. Re2O5 is not a stable phase in the system. We suggest that monoclinic ReO2+x is a metastable phase and that a homogeneity region exists in orthorhombic ReO2. p-T and T-x diagrams (without the vapor line) are built for the rhenium-oxygen system. The specificity of the system consists of a strong displacement of the eutectic point in the T-x diagram toward the low-melting component (Re2O7). Line {Re2O7(S), ReO3(S), V} in the p-T diagram, in fact, coincides with line {Re2O7(S), Re2O 7(V)} for individual Re2O7, and line {ReO 3(S), L, V} coincides with line {Re2O7(L), Re2O7(V)} for individual Re2O7.
