Аннотация:The interaction of Bi-2223/Bi-2212 superconducting ceramics with submicron Sr1-x,CaxZrO3 powders (x = 0, 0.2, 0.5, 1) at 845 degrees C was investigated. The reaction route strongly depended on x. For x = 0 a decomposition of Bi-2223 to Bi-2212 and other phases occurred while the zirconate surplus with x greater than or equal to 0.5 favoured Bi-2223 phase formation. The interaction was accompanied by Sr-Ca exchange between the zirconate and the Bi-2223/Bi-2212. Equilibrium between Bi-2223 and Sr1-xCaxZrO3 was achieved for x similar to 0.1. The mechanism of the interaction was proposed to be as follows. The zirconate precipitates attract Pb-rich liquid hindering the reaction Bi-2212 + Ca2CuO3 + CuO --> Bi-2223 and simultaneously activating the interaction of Bi-2223/Bi-2212 with Sr1-xCaxZrO3. The zirconate surplus had a negligible effect on T-c of the Bi-2223 superconductor, and Zr was not observed in appreciable amounts in the Bi-2223 lattice. The T-c scatter 107.5-110.5 K was related to different Ca:Sr ratio in Bi-2223.
