Аннотация:Along with the superexchange the hexaferrite crystal structure allows the antisymmetric spin-coupling between the spins of cations according to Moria. It was shown by Moria that for reasons of symmetry one can conclude the possibility of antisymmetric spin-coupling between the spins of ions for which be formulated five rules. The energy of this coupling is equal to D[S1S2], where D is the antisymmetric spin-couplng vector and S1 and S2 are spin vectors, and it represents a perturbing addition on the background of the stronger isotropic superexchange. For reasons of the free energy minimum the antisymmetric spin-coupling tends to turn the three vectors D, S1 and S2 at right angles to each other. Special conditions are evidently needed so that the antisymmetric spin-coupling cause the experimentally noticeable spin non-collinearity. In hexaferrites it proves to be possible in those spots of the lattice where the superexchange is greatly weakened because of the competing superexchange interactions or even is absent due to the replacemements by the non-magnetic ions.
