Аннотация:The statistical modeling of debris flow dynamics on a flattering slope has been carried out using the Monte-Carlo method. A deterministic two-phase model of debris flow was used with five random parameters, namely the coefficient of Coulomb friction of debris material on the channel bottom, the coefficient of turbulent friction of the liquid phase, the coefficient of coarse debris material entrainment, the critical velocity of debris material entrainment and the coefficient of the volume concentration of debris material in the flow. Two hundred random values of each parameters were generated and the 200-point series of the output model characteristics were produced. Statistical estimates have been obtained and the histograms and cumulative distribution functions of the basic dynamic characteristics of debris flow for the fixed section were constructed.
