Аннотация:A class of abstract pseudoparabolic nonlinear equations of the form
ddt⎛⎝A0u+∑j=1NAj(u)⎞⎠+Lu+DP(u)=F(u)
is studied in a general framework of Banach spaces. The authors establish the existence of weak and strong solutions to the Cauchy problem for those equations. Moreover, the question of continuability of solutions in time is studied.
Examples of applications include various (Sobolev type) dissipative wave equations.
