Аннотация:The curing process of propargyl terminared phenolic resins accompanied by significant heat spread what may cause heat run-away effect [1]. For the modeling experiments the PN-60 possessing the curing enthalpy 855 J/g was chosen. In case of polymer matrix with low thermal conductivity, there is a risk of sharp uncontrolled overheating that could cause destruction or formation of defects. Mathematical modeling allows revealing the optimal conditions for curing process and avoiding uncontrolled overheating of composite parts.
Real curing conditions for injection molding process require carrying out the curing process in a short time and with the degree of conversion at least 45-50%. This is enough for laminate to have a rigid shape allowing removing it from the mold without any deformations. To identify the conditions of composite parts curing to satisfy both of these conditions without overheating sharp detail was the aim of simulation.
