Аннотация:A brief history of evolutionary-ecological approach to the problem of aging are considered.
Following this approach, with increased environmental mortality, reduced energy investment for repair of the body, accelerated ageing and reduced lifespan.
We investigated the spatial differences of environmental mortality and life expectancy and their relationship between environmental, socio-economic and behavioral factors using data from 82 regions of Russia. Mean environmental mortality had wide range in Russia: typical environmental mortality interval was 0.0043-0.0055; minimum -0.003, maximum – 0.008. Results from GLM modelling show that environmental mortality were significantly influenced by sum of the average monthly temperature in January and July, polluted wastewater and a number of alcoholics.
