Аннотация:The study of inverse Stefan problems is difficult, since their mathematical models are nonlinear and ill-posed. In the thermophysical interpretation an inverse Stefan problem considered in this work means the determination of the temperature field, the phase boundary, and the convection heat transfer coefficient from the temperature distribution and the phase boundary position given at a final time. The corresponding mathematical formulation is to find the unknown coefficient multiplying the lowest order derivative in a quasilinear parabolic equation in a one-phase domain with an unknown moving phase boundary.
Final overdetermination is specified as additional information on the solution of the direct Stefan problem.
