Аннотация:The energy spectra of low energy (1 and 2 keV) K+ ions scattered from the (001)Ni surface were measured. The incident and the scattered beams were in the (100) plane and the incident angle was 15°. The spectra were recorded for the scattering angles between 23° and 45°. The incident current density ranged from 9×10−8 to 5×10−6 A/cm2. For the higher values of the incident current density and the lower values of the scattering angle the peak, which could be ascribed to the scattering from the surface dipoles appearing owing to the ionic bonding of K atoms from the incident beam with the substrate, was observed.
