Аннотация:The detailed study of the processes of mechanical alloying for the Fe-32 at. % Si system was carried out using X-ray diffraction, Mössbauer spectroscopy, and magnetic measurements. The results are compared with those for the Fe-32 at. % Sn system obtained under the same milling conditions. The influence of the type of the material of the milling body of the planetary ball mill on the process and products of the mechanical synthesis was also studied for the Fe-Si system. Model thermodynamic calculations within the framework of the Miedema model were carried out in order to determine the energetic driving forces of transformations. Mechanisms of the accelerated mass transfer during the mechanical alloying of the Fe-Si and Fe-Sn systems are proposed.
