Аннотация:The Conclusion, summing up the book’s consideration of the malicious use of artificial intelligence, draws attention to the fact that such use may lead, at the least, to an even greater delay in formulating an adequate public response to the dangerous behaviors of antisocial actors. On a global scale, this will facilitate the formation of conditions for various kinds of manmade economic, environmental and other societal disasters, including a Third World War. With a malicious use of artificial intelligence (MUAI) that qualitatively exceeds human capacities to cope with, the matrices of thought and behaviors that are hostile to humans may in the near future become practically insurmountable at the level of public consciousness and political practice. Since the threats of MUAI to psychological security are associated with various aspects of life and countering them must necessarily be complex, interdisciplinary research and international cooperation are needed. The Conclusion considers such cooperation as a task of public importance and identifies a number of challenges that hinder its development. The Conclusion shows that the choice of a socially oriented development model will avoid large-scale threats of MUAI and that the effective interaction of people and artificial intelligence will then become an important source of human progress and will minimize the negative consequences of such interaction.
