Аннотация:Modeling of the global heliosphere is essentially required for our understanding of the nature of the heliospheric boundaries. The models are also needed for correct analyses and interpretation of relevant spacecraft data both inside the heliosphere and at the boundary of the solar wind (SW) interaction with the local interstellar medium (LISM). Modern models of the SW/LISM interaction should essentially take into account multi-component nature of both the solar wind and local interstellar medium, the heliospheric and interstellar magnetic fields, the latitudinal and time variations of the solar wind parameters. Recent spacecraft data provide significant constraints on the model parameters. In this presentation, we will critically review current status in the modeling of the SW/LISM interactions and compare the model predictions with recent spacecraft data obtained on boards of Voyager, IBEX, SOHO and HST spacecraft. Problems and perspectives of the model development will be discussed as well.
