Аннотация:New phosphoryl-contg. tripodand tris[(o-diphenylphosphinoylmethyl)phenoxyethyl]amine is synthesized. The stability consts., enthalpies, and entropies of tripodand complexation with lithium, sodium, and potassium thiocyanates in acetonitrile at 298 K are detd. The study on complexation by calorimetry, 7Li and 23Na NMR spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry suggests that ligand and lithium thiocyanate form, in addn. to the 1:1 complex, the polynuclear 2:1 and 3:1 (M:L) complexes, whereas the 1:1 and 1:2 complexes are formed in the case of sodium and potassium thiocyanates. A high podand selectivity to the lithium cation in acetonitrile compared to that for the sodium and potassium cations is due to the formation of polynuclear complexes.
