Аннотация:It was established by standard porosimetry that polyparaphenylene (PPP) particles, and hence also PPP films, have a regular, highly disperse microporous and mesoporous structure. The regularity of the externalstructure is characterized by its crystallinity, but that of the internal structure is characterized by a dual dispersion with pore radii r< 2.5 nm and 80 less-than-or-equal-to r less-than-or-equal-to 200 nm.ft was found that the porosity increases substantially when the PPP swells in acetonitrile and that the fine-porous structure changes (opens up) irreversibly by consecutive impregnation of the PPP with acetonitrile and evaporation of the acetonitrile. The mean radii of the nonporous fibrils of doped and undoped PPP were determined approximately.
