Аннотация:The effect of the pattern of long-range surface forces on the profile of the transition zone of droplets having identical macroscopic contact angles and on the character of equilibrium in the sessile droplet-wetting film system was studied by simulation. It was shown that the stepwise profile of the transition zone associated with the parr of the disjoining pressure isotherms corresponding to unstable film thicknesses is not exhibited at the equilibrium profile due to thermodynamic fluctuations.
