Аннотация:The article focuses on the role of communication skills in the pedagogical communication between student and teacher. It discusses the features of development of communicative competence as an important professional competence. The article describes the results of the use of the training program on formation of communicative skills of students in their learning process in the University. The problem of effective communicative activity has acquired a lot of significance recently. Today new requirements are put forward before professional competence of specialists (A.K. Mitina, A.A. Derkach, E.A. Klimov, L.M. Mitina and others). In modern society, it is necessary to prepare a specialist with scientific skills of communication, able to take creative decisions with full responsibility (a communicatively competent professional). Recently there have emerged a number of terms close to the notion of communicative competence: “competence of interaction” (L.A. Petrovskaya, Yu.M. Zhukov and others); “communicative abilities” (M.K. Kabardov, A.A. Kidron); “communicative nucleus” (A.A. Bodalev); “communicative potential” (R.A. Maksimova).
