Аннотация:This book is devoted to a comprehensive study of radical mass forms of social protest, as an independent phenomenon with its own laws, and technologies for managing this phenomenon in the political struggle. This phenomenon is formed by a whole range of types of social protest and confrontation in society: from mass anti-government protests leading to a clash with the forces of law and order, to civil wars, as well as including uprisings, rebellions and revolutions. The study revises a number of provisions and conclusions on social protest established in science, including the reasons for the emergence of radical mass forms of social protest, the motivational principles of protesters, the formation of the main complex of protest management technologies in the political struggle, and their further use and development, etc. The book is designed for sociologists, political scientists, historians, and the widest range of readers.
