The paper presents assumptions concerning the prospect of migration and population policies in the Russian Federation. The definitions of the basic principles of future policies are closely related to current development policies and objectives formulated in the two concepts: Demographic Policy Concept of the Russian Federation until 2025 and Concept of the Russian Federation’s State Migration Policy until 2025.
