Presented work is a comprehensive analysis of the association of course and prognosis of chronic hepatitis C (CHC ) with carriage with carriage of variant markers six polymorphic loci of genes of the renin-angiotensin system, oxidative stress and endothelial dysfunction in patients with chronic HCV-infection (162 people) of the Russian population. There were enrolled in the study 93 patients with CHC and 69 - with liver cirrhosis in its outcome, in total 162 people, and 299 healthy blood donors like comparison group. There were identified variant markers studied polymorphic genes associated with the transformation of CHC in LC (genotypes 242TT of CYBA gene and (-6)AA of AGT gene), the rapid rate of liver fibrosis progression (242TT genotype of CYBA gene, (-6) A allele and (-6) AA genotype, 235T allele and 235MT genotype of AGT gene) and the formation and severity of portal hypertension syndrome ( 242TT genotype of CYBA gene, (-6) AA genotype of AGT gene, 235MT or 235MM genotypes of AGT gene). Shows the clinical significance and prognostic evaluation of these gene polymorphisms and their combinations with each other and with the clinical and demographic factors . In view of the data, a predictive risk assessment model of rapid progression of liver fibrosis in patients with CHC based on a combination of genetic and demographic parameters was developed.
